More than two hundred pictures were sent in this year. Thanks a lot for
participating!
You guys sent so many pictures this year I decided to split them up. One
page for Europe, one for the
rest of the world. Consider a long download time for these pages as they
are packed with images.

The American Book
Center writes to say:
Here are more pictures of the Towel Day in the American Book Center
in Amsterdam, Netherlands. We thought it would be fun to give away free
books if you came in with a towel, in honour of Douglas Adams and because
it's fun. Everyone loved it! We asked those who brought a towel if we
could take a picture of them, but since some people were shy we just took
a picture of them hidding under their towel, of just of their towel. Coincidentally
the store next door had a Towel sale that same day. We will definately
be doing this again next year.
